This artwork shows real strength and brutality when looking first at the main point of this piece. The colors are very well contrasted to make the skin and other features stand out to the viewer's eye. The best part of this picture is how well the background was 'faded out' to make the figure in the picture seem much more prominent and terrifying, getting the picture's main point across. Vision; as I said the picture's concept was creatively thought about, making things in the background seem less important to make the figure in front have the spotlight. Originality; great example of an original piece of work. It's fresh, lively, and makes the viewer think about the story behind this figure and what caused it to be so angry, while wielding a deadly weapon at the ready. Technique; color is bold, contrasted, and outlined to make it more attractive to the human eye. Shading is beautifully done, muscles are proportioned nicely, giving the figure a strong appearance. Shading with color tones is well done, perfectly blended together to have a better impact on the artwork. Impact; the point is easily given across in this piece. We can clearly tell the figure is quite upset with some event in time that occurred recently. Only thing that could have made the picture even more impacting is if some of the buildings in the background were on fire, or an explosion somewhere to indicate that "this means war" so to speak. To conclude, this is a very well done piece of art, amazing details, point is given easily, and the style is unique.
